Big party at Sandy Lew today. Trunk show of purses by a local group of women under the name Oba. They use the proceeds to grant funds to different groups
Plus, Sandy is selling now Green Hatter Hats
Here's Sandy's website http://www.sandylew.com/
Green Hatter hats are all made by hand by reincarnating sweaters found second hand. They are cut, sewn and serged together one hat at a time using natural materials like wool, angora, cashmere, alpaca and cotton. All are lined either with cotton, a blend of cotton/cashmere or lightweight wool. Three styles are currently available.

On the chopping block
Went to the Savers in Las Vegas and double downed on gray and red
I especially love these two together. The darker is really soft Italian wool and the lighter is a cashmere and cotton blend. Yum

Bunny in the House
Sorta scary cutting up the first one but I learned really a lot. Mainly I figured out the pattern needs some adjustments but other than that, construction went well and in the end, it's super warm and soft.
I was wearing it with the brim flipped up like this and
I like the brown color fur with the red, but the white on the brim is making me think Santa may want to wear this to the hardware store so next attempt will be with charcoal or light gray.
This was turned inside out with the brim in back so we could see how it would look with just a band, no brim. Love it...
I really love the way the fur falls below the band in the picture below.

206 in the 509
Went to Tonasket and got some tasty cheese, squash for Thanksgiving and 8 rabbit pelts for a new design. The rabbits are treated like royalty, fed with the most beautiful food and loved by the whole family. They pay back this love by feeding the community and allowing us to use their most beautiful pelts.
Thank you dear Leaha and Co. for giving your loving attention and nurturing and thank you bunnies for the luxurious soft and warm fur that soon line a hat that will be loved forever.
